Anheuser-Busch Cos Inc. on Friday laid out a plan to cut $1 billion in costs and improve earnings as it tries to convince investors that InBev NV's $46.3 billion offer for the largest U.S. brewer was too low.
Some Anheuser-Busch shareholders have filed lawsuits seeking to force the U.S. brewer to fairly consider the $46.3 billion takeover bid from InBev, according to court documents obtained by Reuters on Tuesday.
